We’re delighted to announce that Designworks Australia is joining forces with Landor Australia to form Australia’s largest strategic branding and experience design practice.

The merger brings together two successful business with remarkably complementary offers -  Designworks Australia’s leading homegrown position in corporate branding and customer experience design with Landor’s globally recognised capability and proprietary methodologies in consumer branding and innovation. A combined offering unparalleled in the market

The business will trade under Landor’s globally respected brand in Australia market, while in New Zealand the Designworks brand and businesses will continue unaffected. 

The new Australian business will have a staff of around 60, giving us the scale, network and offerings to compete with other global agencies in the region. The business will enable us to offer Australian clients a unique set of specialist brand and design capabilities from within the group. 

Landor is the world’s leading branding agency with 29 offices globally and an impressive client list that includes BP, Fedex, Proctor & Gamble and Coca-Cola. This merger opens the door for us to Landor's global network and access to an impressive portfolio of credentials, consumer insights and proprietary tools. This global affiliation will benefit clients in both New Zealand and Australia, particularly those looking to further their global ambitions.

The combined business in Australia will be led by Dominic Walsh, currently MD Landor Australia. Dominic will report to Sven Baker Designworks Executive Chairman AUNZ and join the Designworks Group Exco representing our Australian operations. Brad Doble, currently MD Designworks Australia has been appointed as Managing Partner to head up the Sydney office and Landor’s Nick Davis as Managing Partner of the Melbourne office.
